Antonio Bermudez Obituary

Born in Cayey, Puerto Rico on March 21, 1937 to the late Fela Bermudez. At the age of 23, he moved from Puerto Rico to Port Norris, NJ. At the age of 26, he married the love of his life, Iris, on August 7, 1964. Tony was a lifelong oysterman. He was employed by Reed and Reed Oysters and later employed by Gorton's Seafood until he retired in 1997.
Tony is lovingly remembered by his children, Elizabeth (Rennie), Anthony (Melinda), Edward (Rhetta); his grandchildren, Charles Franklin, Brooke Torres, Anthony Jr., Kate, Brandon, Dylan and Jordon Bermudez; his 14 great grandchildren and 2 special brothers-in-law, Jose and Felix Jr.; 1 special sister-in-law, Elizabeth and a host of nieces and nephews.
In his spare time, Tony took pride in having a beautiful well-manicured yard. His neighbors were always in awe. He enjoyed crabbing and fishing on the weekend and spending time with his family.
Family and friends will be received on Monday September 15, 2025 from 5:00pm until 6:00pm followed by a funeral service at 6:00pm at DeMarco – Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave. Vineland, NJ 08361. Burial will be private.
