Michael Anthony Maychuk of Bedminster Township passed away unexpectedly on June 19, 2024. He had just celebrated his 40th birthday in April.
Born in Doylestown PA, Mike was a 2003 graduate of Pennridge High School and a graduate of Bucks County Community College, Newtown, PA, with a degree in Culinary Arts.
Mike found employment as a Chef at local Bucks County restaurants including: The Dublin Diner, Chambers, The Perk, and The Plumsteadville Inn. He was also a line chef in the Food Preparation Department at Doylestown Hospital. A career change later in life, led Mike to obtain his CDL license, and he worked for many excavation and material hauling companies. He also delivered Equine feed/bedding for his family's retail business, KT Saddlery, and performed various warehouse duties.
A skilled craftsman, Mike spent the majority of his spare time in his workshop. He enjoyed woodworking and restoring old cars, trucks and tractors. He was a 15-year member of the Dublin Volunteer Fire Company and received the Burpee Award for Community Service.
An avid motorcycle enthusiast, he was a member of the American Riders Motorcycle Club.
Many evenings, Mike would play in his pool league, competing against other teams, always hoping to advance to the next level. A lover of all animals, when not at work, or busy with other activities, Mike could be found with his beloved Golden Retriever, "Goldy", by his side.
For those who had the privilege of knowing him, Mike was the person who was always ready to lend a helping hand, assist someone in need, or just share a good laugh, a smile and an encouraging word. He had the ability to make those that he met, even once, instantly a friend for life.
Mike was a loyal and steadfast Son, a dependable and fun-loving Brother, a community Servant, a true Patriot, and a follower of Jesus Christ.
He will be missed, remembered and loved forever by his Family and by his Friends.
Michael is survived by his loving parents, Anthony P. and Kimberly F. (Fickes) Maychuk, his devoted Sisters and Brothers: Dena M. Kilpatrick, Nicole A. Maychuk, Tessa N.Maychuk, Donald D. Maychuk (Erica), and Troy C. Maychuk. Nieces: Anya N. Olson, Ava Maychuk, and Lillianna Maychuk. Nephew's: Elijah J.Olson, Roman Maychuk and Jared Gleaton. Uncle's: Christopher K.
