Michael Maynard Obituary
Michael A. "Mike" Maynard, 68, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 14, 2025, in UPMC- Chautauqua (WCA) Hospital in Jamestown of natural causes.
He was born January 27, 1957 in Jamestown the son of the late Richard Ireland and Dolores Mae (Campbell) Maynard. Mike was a 1975 graduate of Randolph Central School and Alfred University with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering.
He spent many years working as the in house cook for Lutheran Home and Rehab in Jamestown. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, cooking, diamond painting, thrift shopping, playing computer games and collecting coins. He was a member of the Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints Church in Jamestown.
Surviving are his friend; Debbie Samuelson of Forestville and two brothers; Steven (Kimberly) Maynard of Puryear, TN, and Danny (Vicki) Maynard of Fremont, OH. And many nieces and nephews.
His brother Randy Maynard passed him posthumously on Sunday, January 18, 2026. Randy was also preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Dolores. To leave a condolence log onto www.vanrensselaerandsonfuneralhome.com
