Randy Wayne Maynard, 67, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 18, 2026, in UPMC- Chautauqua (WCA) Hospital in Jamestown of natural causes.
He was born April 11, 1958 in Jamestown the son of the late Richard Ireland and Dolores Mae (Campbell) Maynard. Randy was a 1976 graduate of Randolph Central School. He served in the United States Airforce from 1977- 1982 with a rank of Staff Sargent.
He spent many years living in Fremont, Ohio, where was an over the road truck driver for 25 years for Chemtrol (American Welding and Tank) Fremont, OH. He retired from Truck-Lite in Falconer after 5 years of service.
Randy was a member of the Randolph VFW Post and the Jamestown VVA. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and liked to golf, play cards and go to the Casino. He was an avid sports fan and especially the Buffalo Bills and watching Television.
Surviving are his companion; Kathy Keech, four daughters, Michelle Maynard of RI, Ashley (Mark) Simmons of Randolph, Cheyenne Sellen of Fremont, OH and Rikki Maynard of Huntersville, NC, a son; Joseph Maynard of Morganton, NC. Nine grandchildren; Zackary, Brandon, Andrew, Ryan, Parker, Myles, Noah, Raelynn and Lincoln, two brothers; Steven (Kimberly) Maynard of Puryear, TN, and Danny (Vicki) Maynard of Fremont, OH.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Dolores, a brother, Michael A. Maynard on December 14, 2025.
The family will receive relatives and friends for a Memorial Visitation from 1-3 PM on January 31, 2026) from the Van Rensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church Street, Randolph, NY..
