McCarthy, Michael G.
Greece: Saturday, October 9, 2021 at the age of 74. Predeceased by his parents, George and Ginny. Mike is survived by his loving wife, Kathy; sister, Lynne McCarthy; daughters, Michelle (Nathan) Phillips, Heather (Chris) Dutko, Nicole (Cale) Litolff, Lindsay (Todd) Ellsworth, Jessica Ellsworth; 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and many dear friends and colleagues. Mike proudly served at the MCSO for 22 years retiring as Investigator Sergeant. Mike also worked for the Kodak NASCAR Team, finishing out his career with Genier Security and the local courts. He was a true gentleman who loved his family and always put others before himself.
His family will receive friends Wednesday, October 13, 1:00 - 4:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Per Mike's request please join his family at 4:30 PM at O'Loughlins on St. Paul Blvd. to continue the celebration of his life. Memorials may be directed to U of R Hospice or Golisano Children's Hospital.

Mike and I grew up as a neighbors and played baseball for RH . I will truly miss him. To his family and especially Lynne, I am very sorry for this huge loss.
