Michael McCormick Obituary
He was an avid sports fan and never missed the Georgia Bulldogs or Atlanta Braves games. When he was able, he enjoyed working out in the yard while listening to classic rock on his headphones. The light of his life was spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren, Isabella Johnson and Jasper Smith. Mike retired from Coca-Cola as a general manager after twenty plus years of dedicated employment.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of forty-seven years as of June 18, 2023, Gennell Kay Long McCormick; daughter Jennifer Nichole McCormick; daughter, Brittani McCormick (Kevin) Mathison; grandchildren, Isabella Johnson and Jasper Smith; sisters, Pam McCormick and Cindy (Lloyd) DeLatour and a host of nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at eleven in the afternoon on Saturday, the 28th of October 2023 in the chapel of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church located at 1167 Angham Rd, Hiram, GA 30141. Food will follow in the fellowship hall.
