MICHAEL McDERMOTT Obituary
MICHAEL PATRICK McDERMOTT, age 74, passed away suddenly on October 7, 2025. Loving father of Kris McDermott and Kayla McDermott (John Ellegant); son of the late William McDermott (Barbara) and Beatrice Lavelle (George); brother of Sandra Bowden (Terrence) (both deceased) and William McDermott (Kathleen); uncle and dear friend of many. Michael was a stroke survivor and found joy in talking with other stroke survivors in hopes of helping them through their journey of recovery. He was an avid Cleveland sports fan and loved to tinker with many different things while “locking” himself in the garage. Memorial service at the funeral home, Saturday October 25, 2025 at 5 p.m. Family and friends received at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.) SATURDAY from 3-5 p.m., please wear your favorite Cleveland sports team apparel in memory of Michael.
