Michael Allan McGlasson, 43, of Cedar Creek, Texas, passed away on December 12, 2025. Born on September 14, 1982, in Austin, Texas, Michael was the cherished son of Thomas Allan and Rosanna McGlasson.
From a young age, Michael showed a boundless creative spirit. He was an extraordinary artist who could draw anything, a talented tattooist, and a gifted musician who loved to play guitar, sing, and rap. His creativity was matched only by his generous heart---always smiling, always ready to help someone in need, and never saying goodbye without also saying, “I love you.”
Though he faced challenges throughout his life, Michael’s greatest success was found in his love for others. His children---Preston, Makalee, Elyssa, Rory, and Lania----were his pride and joy. They were at the center of every conversation, and every prayer. He leaves behind his devoted parents, Thomas Allan and Rosanna; his sister, Elizabeth Hale; and his brother, Corbin McGlasson. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Obie Ragan and Thomas Addison McGlasson, and his grandmother, Wilma Ragan. His grandmother, Dora McGlasson, survives him.
Michael was saved as a young boy and never hesitated to speak the name of Jesus. He shared his faith freely and lived it daily through kindness and love. He may not have had the material things the world measures as success---no mansion or fortune---but in God’s eyes, he was deeply successful. Michael lived the greatest commandment: he loved well.
Though his time here was short, Michael’s laughter, compassion, and faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Visitation will begin at 2:00pm and the celebration of life will begin at 4:00pm on Monday, December 22, 2025 at Marrs Jones Newby Funeral Home.
