Born on May 24, 1945 in Baltimore, MD, Michael Mendelson served with honor in the Army for 26 years, earning the rank of Staff Sergeant. His dedication to his country and his bravery in service were unmatched, and he carried the values of duty, honor, and commitment throughout his life.
He is survived by his wife Paulette Mendelson, children Scott Mendelson (Sue), grandson Brayden Mendelson, and Steven Mendelson, and a host of extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. He was predeceased in death by his mother and father.
A service to honor his life will be held at Arlington National Cemetery on a date later to be determined.
We would like to give a special thank you to his sister, Jackie Collins, who provided care for him over the last year.
Michael Mendelson will forever be in our hearts, and his legacy of, service, and dedication will never be forgotten.
