Michael "Mike" David Robinson

Michael “Mike” D. Robinson, age 76 of Gulfport, MS, passed away peacefully to be with our Lord and Savior on September 5, 2024. He was originally from Ashland, KY, and has lived in Gulfport since 1976.

Michael is a Vietnam Veteran and served in the United States Navy as a Seabee and had a love for family, friends, street rods, Harley motorcycles and was always seen with his faithful sidekick his lab, Butter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Alberta Robinson of Ashland, KY, and his grandson, John Robert Street.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Sandra; his sister, Bobbi (Ron) Wymer of Ashland, KY; daughter, Cheryl (Tracy) Akins of Gulfport; son, Joseph Robinson of Gulfport; grandchildren, Elania Robinson of Biloxi, Ryan (Lindsey) Street of Petal, MS, Chad Akins of Stone County, Tanya Akins of Gulfport and great grandchildren, Michael Street, Lexie Street, Haylee Street, Logan Street and Kennedy Dixon.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mike’s name to the American Cancer Society or the Patriot Guard Riders of the MS Gulf Coast.
