Michael "Mike" Schneider Obituary
Michael ”Mike” Edward Schneider, 84, of Royal, Arkansas, passed away September 11, 2023. Born in Calumet City, Illinois to Michael and Frances Schneider, he was a four year veteran of the U.S. Army Signal Corps and retired from ATT as an electrical production engineer.
He is survived by his children, Debbie Schneider and Michael George Schneider (Melissa), both of Little Rock; granddaughter, Haley Williams (Justin) and great-grandson, Avery Williams, of Tucson, Arizona; sisters, Mary Jo Haislett and Carol Hewitt of North Carolina; longtime companion, Oma Lou Mellor of Hensley; and other extended family and beloved friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Michael’s life will be held on Friday, September 15 at 2:00 p.m., preceded by visitation beginning at 1:00, at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct., Little Rock. Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Burn Unit, 1 Children’s Way, Little Rock, AR 72202.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
