He is preceded in death by wife Debbie Ford Morris and special friend Toby Rinehart Morris, who were the loves of his life; his son, Eldon Morris; his great-grandchild, Kannon Morris; his sister, Sue Rogers; and his parents, Eldon and Bonnie Morris. Michael’s family was everything to him, and he was known for his unwavering faith and encouragement.
Michael lived every day with a zest for life that inspired everyone around him. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures; cheering on his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren at their sporting events, casting a line while fishing, or hunting for the best bargains in town. Each of these moments reflected his appreciation for the blessings God placed in his path.
His faith was unwavering, a light that shone brightly wherever he went. Michael never met a stranger, only people who needed to hear the Word of God. Through his kindness, his words of encouragement, and the scriptures he shared, he touched countless lives. Many carry his faith-filled words in their hearts to this day.
To know Michael was to know warmth, generosity, and faith in action. His legacy will live on in the lives he touched and the love he so freely gave.
A celebration of Michael’s life will take place in the coming days, where family and friends will gather to share stories, laughter, and tears as we honor a man who meant so much to so many.
