Michael Musheno of West Scranton died unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 19th. He was born in Scranton on April 23, 1985. Michael was the beloved son of Michael Musheno Sr. and Gayle McAllister Musheno.

Michael was a 2003 graduate of West Scranton High School and a proud member of the Scranton community throughout his life

He was a man defined by generosity and heart - the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back and then ask what else you needed. His kindness, loyalty, + willingness to help anyone at any time left an impact on everyone who knew him.

A man of deep faith, Michael was an active member of St.

Patricks Church and attended the 6:30am daily Mass

St. Peter's Cathedral with unwavering devotion.

One of the greatest joys of Michael's life was being an uncle. He treasured every moment spent with his nephew Kian Musheno and niece Wilhelmina Walsh - always in the yard playing sports, laughing, and creating memories that will last a Lifetime. He was also a proud Godparent to Lily Griffiths, Nadia Musheno, and his nephew Kian, roles he embraced with deep loved commitment.

He was a passionate sports fan, cheering faithfully for Notre Dame football, The New York Yankees, the Green Bay Packers, and the Boston Celtics.

Michael devoted countless hours to helping organize and plan the now annual Bogeys for Burkey Golf Tournament, a cause extremely close to his heart. He was also an active member with the St. Patricks Day Parade Committee.

Michael is preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph McAllister Sr. and Elizabeth McAllister, Joseph Musheno, Sr. and Alice Musheno. His aunts, Annie Walsh and Cathy Carbaugh.

Michael is survived by his mother, Gayle, his father, Michael, his brother Casey Musheno and fiancé' Natalie Walsh, sister, Amy Mangano Moran and husband Pat. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and first cousins all whom held a special place in his heart. Along with his four-legged pal, Joplin.

Above all else, Michael will be remembered as a passionate, loving, and genuinely a good person whose kindness touched everyone he met.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 12noon at St. Patrick's Church, 1403 Jackson St., Scranton.

Interment, Cathedral Cemetery.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday morning from 10:00am until 11:45am at the church.
