Mr. Michael Lee Nolley was born on February 20, 1960, to the late Mr. Earnest Lee Shepherd and the late Shirley Elaine Nolley in Oxford, GA of Covington, GA. Michael entered eternal rest on January 19, 2026.

He attended Public Schools in Newton County. After graduation he worked at the Kroger warehouse, he was a construction worker, and he also worked at Zaxby’s as a cook. Something he loved to do was cooking on the grill and making homemade Brunswick stew until his health declined to make him not be able to work anymore. He was a loving brother and friend to all.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 31, 2026, 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Zion First Baptist Church, 100 West Richardson, St. Oxford, GA 30054, Pastor Charlie Williams, Eulogist. Assisted by others. Interment, Oxford Historical Cemetery. Mr. Nolley will Lie in-state at the church from 9:30 A.M. until the service hour. The family will assemble at his sister, Travia's residence at 10:00 A.M.

Family and Friend's visitation will be held Friday, January 30,2026, 12:00 Noon until 6:00 P.M. at the chapel. He leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memory and legacy those he touched two sisters, Travia (John) Glover and Ms. Erica Nolley; one niece, Shirlia Williams; two nephews, Kameron Bennett and Martin Bennett, Jr. and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. “A Service of Dignity, A Trademark of Excellence.
