Michael O’Loughlin passed away peacefully on October 15, 2023 at the age of 91, with his wife Bridie of 65 loving years, his loving children & grandchildren by his side. Born and raised in Lettermore, Ireland, he was the son of the late Bridget (Joyce) and Coleman O’Loughlin. He came to the United States in his early 20’s, and worked for Botti Construction for over 40 years. He was a longtime resident of Dedham until he retired down in Falmouth, then moved back up to Stoughton to be closer with family. Michael enjoyed working outside doing yard work and gardening, as well as strolls on the beaches of Cape Cod. Above all, he loved spending time with his beloved family.

In addition to his wife, Michael is survived by his 6 children and their spouses, Michael & Yu O’Loughlin of Canton, Barbara and Ronald Reid of Stoughton, Mary and the late Joseph O’Brien of Norwood, Joan O’Loughlin of Norwood, John O’Loughlin of Pocasset, and Brenda & Noel Loftus of Sharon. He is survived by his grandchildren, Sean, Ryan, Megan, Keri, Jamie, Caitlin, Nathan, Noel Jr., Brigid, Coleman and the late Aidan, as well as his great-grandchild Aiden. Michael was the dear brother to Bridie Lydon, Agnes McDonagh, and was predeceased by Mary, Anne, Patrick, Coleman, Kate, John, Barbara, Barbara, Nora, and Winnie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visiting Hours will be held on Wednesday, October 18th from 4-7 PM at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., Stoughton. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton on Thursday, October 19th at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael’s name may be made to Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Stoughton, MA 02072.
