Bev was born March 29, 1928, in St. Paul, MN, daughter of the late Porter and Hazel (Jensen) Hitchcock. She attended schools in St. Paul, MN graduating with the class of 1945 from Marshall high School. On October 2, 1948, she married James O'Loughlin at St. Lukes in St. Paul, MN. He preceded her in death on April 20, 2010. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, the church choir, Republican Party, and Lamplighters. She enjoyed volunteering at St. Vincent de Paul, Wisconsin Maritime Museum, and the Public Library. Bev also enjoyed dancing, traveling, yardwork, and reading.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Michael (Sue) O'Loughlin, Green Bay and Kevin (Patty) O'Loughlin, Manitowoc; three grandchildren: Eric O'Loughlin, Indiana, Ryan (Dan li) O'Loughlin, New York, and Stephanie (Zac) O'Loughlin, California; one great granddaughter: Mila; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Porter and Hazel Hitchcock; her husband: James O'Loughlin; four sisters and brothers-in-law: Vivian (Bill) King, Arlene (Len) Soler, Hope (Donald) Weiss, Doris (Paul) Blanchard; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Marshall Hitchcock, Jay (Corrine) Hitchcock, and Jimmy (Mattie) Hitchcock.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 11, 2023, at St. Francis of Assisi, 1416 Grand Ave. with Rev. Jason Blahnik officiating the Mass of Christian Burial. Relatives and friends may call at the church from 10:00 am until the time of services at 11:00 am.
