Michael Paciello Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral Home - New Hartford on Jul. 30, 2025.
Michael A. Paciello
God received Michael A. Paciello on Monday, July 28, 2025. He was a good husband, a great father, and a wonderful musician. Michael bravely battled lung cancer but the immune therapy that was used to help caused a severe reaction and damaged his lungs.
Left to grieve and mourn for him are his wife, Linda of 61 years, his son Michael and his wife Susan, and their children, Alyssa and Christopher, and his daughter Krista and her husband Jason and their children, Amy and Alexandra. There is also his brother, Louis and wife Nancy and sister Marycathy. There are many cousins and friends who will miss him.
Michael worked in several manufacturing facilities throughout his life but what he liked to work at most was his music. He began playing trumpet when he was young and then in1980 switched to playing the keyboard and singing. Many people enjoyed his entertainment at their weddings, parties, and religious events. He always spent many hours each day practicing and playing music. His other favorite activities were fishing from his boat and his kayak.
Many people will remember Michael for all his years coaching and refereeing for hockey, especially New Hartford Youth Hockey.
The most important thing in his life, however, was his family. He always wanted them around him and doted on his grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Friday from 4-7 PM at Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, 13 Oxford Rd., New Hartford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, New Hartford.

It was a great Blessing knowing Mike most of my life through his talent as a Traveling Troubadour and Sportsman. He was a great influence to my own musical endeavors as I proudly followed His footsteps. I will always cherish His mentoring ways for good cause. He is in my heart in Song.
