Michael's Memorial Video
Michael Patrick Schewe Dineen was peacefully called home to his Lord and Savior on Friday, May 16, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital in Milwaukee, following a ten year struggle with lymphoma/leukemia. He was born in Appleton, Wisconsin on July 23, 1994 to Donald and Connie Dineen. He grew up in the Fox Valley area and graduated from Xavier High School. He then continued his education with UW Menasha, UW Oshkosh and the Milwaukee Institute of Technology.
Michael was a talented linguistic. He could speak German, Japanese, Spanish, and Gaelic. He had a beautiful voice and he sang bass in the high school choir and again at UW Menasha. Watching Michael perform in plays and musicals was a joy to his family. He played football and participated in track & field in high school. He had a dream of playing on a collegiate sports team, which he accomplished by being a member of the first-ever Frisbee Football team at UWO. Michael was creative, compassionate, a loyal friend, and very fond of his Irish heritage. Most of all, he was a fighter against his ailments and never gave up.
Michael is survived by his parents, Donald and Connie; his brother, Tom (Keyko) Krebsbach; his sister, Megan (Jeremy) Kox; and many friends and other relatives.
The Memorial Mass for Michael will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Hortonville, Wisconsin, with Fr. Phil Schoofs as celebrant. The visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
