Michael Anthony Pena, age 44 of Belton, passed from this life Tuesday, September 30, 2025. Funeral services are currently pending with Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Belton.
Michael was born on September 21, 1981, to Eda E. Koch and Juan Pena, Jr. in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He had a passion for cooking and barbecuing. He loved experimenting with new recipes, especially dishes from around the world, Asian cuisine being one of his favorites. He also had a deep love for motorcycles and found joy and freedom in riding them.
He was preceded in death by his father, Juan Pena Jr.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Eda E. Koch and stepfather, Alan; and his brother, Mario Leon Guerrero.
Michael will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his love of good food, and the warmth he shared with those who knew him.
