Mike was born in St Paul, Minnesota on November 20, 1943 of Frances and Cecil Poe and weighed just 1½ pounds. With love and care from family, he thrived from then on. He attended St. Helena’s Catholic School and graduated from De La Salle High School. He met his beautiful wife-to-be, Mary Claire at a dance and they were married in 1965. They raised two daughters in Shoreview and moved to Linwood Township in 2004 to enjoy their empty nest and peaceful country living. During his life on earth, Mike worked at a job he loved, built a cabin up north, created the most phenomenal Thanksgiving meals and proudly provided for his family. His patience, kindness, generosity and compassion will never be forgotten.
