Michael George Pouba, 40, passed away on July 24, 2025, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin surrounded by his family. Michael fought a courageous battle with Neurofibromatosis from birth that culminated in brain cancer over the past five years. Michael was born on June 4, 1985, in Neenah to parents George Pouba and Michelle Toal. He graduated from Oshkosh North High School and the University of Wisconsin-Madison and then went on to a highly successful career in the oil and gas industry in Denver, Colorado. Michael is survived by his parents; his sisters Amy Pouba (Chris Haid), Beth (Ryan) Huddleston, and Katie Pouba; and his beloved nieces Kayana Turner and Mirabel Haid, all of whom love him more than words can possibly express. He is also survived by many dear cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his Uncle Chuck, Aunt Alice, Uncle Pat, Aunt Penny, Uncle Craig, and cousin Molly. The family is planning a private memorial service at a later date. The family would like to extend special thanks to the care teams at ThedaCare and Eden Meadows. Anyone wishing to remember Michael is welcome to make a donation in his name to the Children's Tumor Foundation (www.ctf.org), which is the national organization working to develop treatments and find a cure for neurofibromatosis, or any charitable organization of their choice.

I remember the day you brought him laying in a bassinet in the front room, because he was jaundice. He always had a smile. The girls were little mothers to him. So sorry for your loss, our prayers are with you
