A celebration of life will be held Sunday, August 18, 2024, at 1st Memphis Street, Hernando, Mississippi from 1:00p.m. until 4:00p.m. All friends and family are welcome,
Michael was a graduate of Hillcrest High School class of 1981. He began working at Graceland Enterprises on their opening day, June 7th, 1982, and continued his career there until January 1998. During his tenure he had vast responsibilities, utilizing many of his talents including decorating for special events inside, and outside of Graceland, along with his supervisory skills at the ticket office. After sixteen years of service, he went to work at Reliant Pharmacy for 20 years as customer service manager; as well as overseeing the medical records department and packaging departments.
Michael was a man of many talents. He will be remembered for all his creative and imaginative skills that were evident in his unique and elaborate floral arrangements, his wonderful and delicious food preparation, for party planning and family gatherings, the beautiful and meticulous works of crochet, cross stitch and sewing; as well as his flare and passion for all types of decorating.
To know him was to love him. There was no bigger heart and no one more giving, with nothing more than gratification in return. His legacy will live on in all the lives he has touched.
He is missed, but never forgotten.
