Michael Patrick Redel

A memorial service for Michael "Mike" Patrick Redel, 67, will be held Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until service time at 3 p.m. Officiating the service will be Brother Bob Moore.
Mike was born on January 3, 1955 in St. Charles, Missouri to Richard "Pete" and Virginia Redel and passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Mike was a hard-working man that provided for his family. He loved his wife Tess and shared her passion for animals. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, loved going to the horse races, watching golf and survival shows and fishing. He was a math wiz and a numbers guy which made him a great salesman and an even better gambler. As part of his competitive nature, he got a hole in one in golf and rolled a 300 in bowling. He was an incredibly strong man and he fought to the end, which isn't surprising to anyone who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Tess Redel; children, Amy Rowell and husband, Brandon, Pat Redel and wife, Alicia, Emily Frey and Pete Redel and wife, Kendal; grandchildren, Madeline, Caleb, Kara, Caden, Jack and Isabella and seven siblings.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
