Dear Mike,
You were my best friend-and honestly, more than that-through every phase of life. We grew up together through childhood, marriages, jobs, and all the changes life threw our way. No matter what season we were in, we were always friends. Always joking, always laughing, sometimes fussing-but always riding together.
You were my pest control, my rescuer, my venting partner, and the king of reminiscing. You were the one I could talk to when the world felt heavy, the shoulder I cried on when I needed strength, and the voice that helped clear the fog when life didn´t make sense.
I never once doubted the love we shared-not just for each other, but for whatever the other loved. Family, children, dreams... all of it mattered to both of us. You were such a big part of my life for so long, and we shared more milestones than I can even count.
I´m going to miss everything about you-your great big smile, those bear hugs you gave even when I didn´t know I needed one, and those talks that somehow made everything feel okay again. We shared so much excitement watching our children grow and talking about their futures. That meant everything to me.
It was always love, Mike. And it will always be love.
You were the top-tier best friend of my life. Through all the years, that never changed. I pray your family and friends feel comfort and peace, just as I´m trying to. You were solid, genuine, and unforgettable-and as long as I have anything to do with it, you will always be remembered and always be loved.
And now I say goodbye, not because I want to, but because I have to. I´ll carry you with me in every laugh, every memory, and every moment I wish I could call you.
Rest easy, Big Mike. Thank you for loving me the way you did. Until we meet again.
