Michael Vernon Reha
Michael Vernon Reha was born October 17, 1973 to Dennis and Anna Reha of Adair Iowa. Mike joined older brother Chris and four years later Tim was born into the family. Mike graduated from Adair Casey Community School in 1992 where he played football, participated in FFA, 4H, and helped with the drama department. He enjoyed hunting, trapping, and fishing with his brothers, dad, grandpa, and friends. In the summer, Mike along with his brothers and neighbor kids could be found in their parents yard playing a game of football. Mike was a football enthusiast, his favorite team being the Dallas Cowboys.
Anyone that was a friend or family knew Mike as "Buck", "Big Buck" (as he was kinda a little guy) or "Buck Master". Mike enjoyed deer hunting through the years and always had buck fever.
Mike's pride and joy was his daughter Gianna, who he would go to the end of the earth for. Even in sickness, he always tried to support her at sporting and school events as well as at the Fair where she showed her calves and rabbits. There was absolutely nothing more important to him than his daughter.
Mike was employed with Mid America Recycling after high school, LBS, and later XPO in the warehouse loading trucks. During the last few years, he was driving a truck often running a set of doubles until he began dealing with health issues. He enjoyed driving, being a fourth-generation Reha behind the wheel of a semi.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents Dennis and Anna Reha, Grandparents Clyde and Elena Kimpel, and Vernon and Ruthe Reha. Uncles Terry Reha, James Reha and Bob Reha.
Those left to cherish Mike's memory:
Daughter Gianna Sophia Reha, special friends Amy Sorensen, Dan Browlee of Norwalk. Best friend Kirk Hutchings. Brothers Chris (Nikki) Reha Urbandale, Tim Reha, Ankeny. Nieces and Nephews Cody Sheeder, Alexandra Baughman, Adrianna Reha, Kynedee Reha, Anthony Reha, Mahalia Reha, Pressley Reha, and Nicolas Reha. Aunts Lucina Kimpel(Steven), Mary (Dan) Waldrop and Uncles Mark (Trisha) Reha and Con (Di) Reha and several cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at the Adair Community Building on Saturday, January 27th at 1:00 pm. Internment following the ceremony at Sunny Hill Cemetery south of Adair. We ask you bring your best story of Mike to the celebration of life. Family asks that you wear Dallas Cowboys or Iowa Hawkeye gear if you have it. Memorial Contributions will go towards Mike's final honor and wishes
