Michael Paul Reiter

Michael P. Reiter, 63, of Jackson Township, passed away Monday, December 8, 2025, with his wife by his side.

Michael was born in Canton, OH on May 26, 1962, to the late Donald Reiter and Carolyn (Jeffers) Hess. He graduated from Massillon Washington High School, class of 1980. Michael worked 40 years as an Auto Body Painter before retiring in 2022. He enjoyed his vacations to the beach every year, fires in the back yard with friends and family, date night every Thursday night with the love of his life, Amy.

Michael is survived by his wife and love of his life, Amy Reiter; his children Liam Reiter (Annemarie), Jillian Machamer, Nicholas Reiter, and Jeremy (Fernanda) Machamer; siblings Cheryl (Rafael) Rodriguez, Stacy Montague, and Donald (Valerie) Reiter, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Michael is preceded in death by his stepmother, Janet Reiter.

Per Michael’s wishes, there will be no services. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, from 4 – 8 PM, at Willowdale Country Club, 610 Willowdale Lake Ave. NW, North Canton, OH 44720.
