Charles W. Yarnell, 73, of Massillon, passed away on December 7, 2025.

He was born on July 4, 1952 to the late Harry and Valerie "Jean" (Jones) Yarnell in Massillon, OH.

A graduate of the Class of 1971, Washington High School and Stark State College, Chuck was a member of The Salvation Army, where he volunteered for the Kettle program. He worked for Republic Steel and then the N&T Rail Road, retiring in 2014. Chuck enjoyed camping, cars, playing guitar, and just being Grandpa.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Diane (McGuire) Yarnell; their children, Christopher M. Yarnell, Scott J. Yarnell, and Candy M. ( Kenneth) Headrick, 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Hendricks; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Charles H. Yarnell;and siblings, Linda Snyder, Larry "Kelly" Yarnell, and Sharon Garbrandt.

A Celebration of Chuck's Life will be held on Saturday, December, 13, 2025 at 4:00 pm at The Salvation Army, Massillon, 315 6th ST NE, Massillon, Oh, 44646.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Salvation Army, Massillon.
