Michael Dean Roach, 59 of Johnston City passed away Friday, April 4, 2025, at 6:34 a.m. at his home. Michael was born on March 2, 1966, to the late RC Roach Sr. and Mildred Roach in Sycamore, Illinois.
Michael married Melisa Duncan on April 13, 2016, in Williamson County, Illinois. He had a love for fishing and going duck hunting. Michael enjoyed watching football and was a lifelong fan of the Chicago Bears. Michael loved his family and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Michael is survived by his wife Melisa Duncan-Roach of Johnston City; two children, Samantha (Wallace) Duncan of Makanda, Anthony Campbell of Kansas; five grandchildren, Keegan Duncan, Gracen Clark, Makenzi Dunn, Jericho Campbell, Dominic Campbell; several brother and sisters and several nieces and nephews.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Andrea Roach; brothers, Terry Roach & RC Roach Jr. and two sisters Phyllis and Jeanette.
A Graveside service will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025, at 11:00 A.M at Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Memorial contributions may be made to Pyle Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.
A Memorial Fundraiser/Raffle will be held Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 1:00 P.M- 5:00 P.M at Linesman Lounge in Johnston City.
