Mary Roach Obituary
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edward Roach; parents, Cecil and Pauline Armstrong; sister, Annie Emory Harrell; brothers-in-law, Fred Roach and Junior Roach; and two nephews, Stephen Emory and Kevin Emory.
Left behind to cherish the memories of a loving mother is her son, Robert E. (Bob) Roach, Jr. and wife, Karen. Mary was a devoted homemaker, mother and wife who enjoyed sewing, crafting and gardening.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM on Friday, August 29, 2025. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 AM on Saturday at Roseberry Cemetery for an 11:00 AM Graveside Service, with Mr. Rick Rogers officiating.
The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice nurses, Cindy, Tracy, Sherri, Ashley, David and Breana; and Mae's Home Care nurses, LuAnn, Bonnie, Tonya, Alma and Ashley.
Pallbearers: Bob Roach, Jim Mayo, Erin Emory, Howard Cusick, Danny Clabo and Delbert Morgan.
Honorary Pallbearers: Steve Troutt, Kermit Fox, Daniel Ruskey, Steve Ellison and Randy Hodge.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mary's honor to Roseberry Baptist Church Building Fund, 2920 Roseberry Rd, Mascot, TN 37806.

MARY EMMA AND RE WAS THE BEST NEIGHBORS AND FRIENDS YOU COULD'VE ASK FOR. THEY WOULD'VE DONE ANYTHING FOR ANYONES IF THEY COULD. THE POWER WENT OFF ONE AND THEY CAME TO SIT WITH ME AND MOM TIL IT CAME BACK ON ONE NIGHT. MARY EMMA TOOK MOM AND I TO CAVE COVES AND SHE HAD US ON ROADS WE HAVE NEVE BEEN ON BEFORE AND SHE WAS AN AWESOME DRIVER. SHE HAD SOME FRIENDS CAMPING IN CAVE COVES, WE GOT OUT AND THEY MADE ME FEEL RIGHT AT HOME. THEY ARE MISS AROUND HERE AND ALWAYS WILL BE TIL WE MEET AGAIN IN HEAVEN.
