Michael was outdoorsy and spent a lot of time outside. At an extremely young age Michael was an outdoorsman, more specifically, fisherman. He just had the ability to fish, naturally hauling in more than anyone in the group. Plain and Simple. He enjoyed reading books and video games, making many friends online.
Michael participated in youth baseball; T-ball, Coach pitch like most young boys do. Played catch; Football, baseball, frisbee.
Just a short excerpt:
Mom was playing catch with him. He so gently tossed the ball to her, if he got any closer to her, he could have set it in her glove. He wasn't going to chance hurting his mother, Laura (it was cute).
In addition, with his analytical thinking he learned the essence of playing chess, and poker games. He especially wanted to play at the table, Grandpa pulled the chair out and game on. Some "judging the book by its cover" would sneer, however, once cards dealt the seasoned player was adjusting their sitting position to pay closer attention!
In his young years playtime also included Sonic the HedgeHog video game: Hedgehog with super speed must rescue animals from the mad scientist! Hence as a young adult Michael loved reading Fantasy novels/book series: which explore Themes That resonate in the real world; Elements include mythical beasts, talking animals, time travel. FANTASY.
Michael would set his plan and surpass his goals. He took care of his personal matters with great fortitude and would not slack regardless of adversity. He was strong as steel and held a softness of velvet.
He sustained himself with the love for his family. His family were his friends. Warmly called Mikey by his siblings, nieces and nephews. Mikey displayed support, love, caring, and was giving always and without hesitation. He shared his home with sister Sharon, Jake and family. Together they comforted one another in daily life. Michael and Sharon have been under the same roof for their lifetime. Her morning ritual
has been disrupted as she will remember it but now Michael has been called and is in the presence of Our Heavenly Father.
With all that said his beautiful heart and soul of course had space for love of animals and their care, more so his cats.
For those lives he touched, your memories will be plentiful and wonderful! Michael touched many very deeply; the void created will be immense. So, know this;
Grief NEVER ENDS BUT IT changes. IT'S A passage, NOT A PLACE TO stay. GRIEF IS NOT A SIGN OF weakness, NOR A LACK OF faith. GREIF IS THE PRICE OF love.
