Funeral services for Michael "Mike" Robert Rose will be held at 11:00am Saturday, August 3rd, 2024 at the Stanley Funeral Home in Wrightsville, GA.
Mike was born June 26th, 1990 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was the oldest son of Greg and Debbie Rose. He is survived by his brother Kevin and sister Rebecca; as well as Grandparents, Carl Sr. and Barbara Holmberg, Ann Rose, and multiple aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mike grew up in Alpharetta, GA and later resided in Brooklyn, New York before eventually settling at his family farm in Wrightsville, Georgia.
Mike attended The University of Georgia where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in history. He then went on to attend Law School at the University of Virginia.
Mike was a man of many passions and skills. He was a talented Artist and Photographer, played many sports, loved the land and fishing. He also traveled to many destinations around the world.
Mike was known to those close to him as someone who was outgoing and caring. He could spark up a conversation with anyone and had a tremendous sense of humor. He will be missed by many, many people.
In Lieu of flowers, his family asks for donations to be made to Dublin Laurens County Humane Society in Mike's honor as he was truly lover of animals.

I met Mike summer 2010 in New York City when we were both visiting our mutual friend Jack Holkeboer. I arrived late on a Thursday night and the next day Mike and I had to find something to do while Jack was at work.

We set off as strangers with no plan and over the course of exploring the city that day, it didn´t take long to feel like I´d been friends with Mike all my life. I´m sure I´m not the only one with such a story - Mike´s passion for this adventure called life and all its possibilities shone through as soon as I met him.
