Michael Ross Obituary

He was born September 30, 1990, in Lincoln County, son of the late Michael Edward Ross Sr. and Deborah Braswell Ross.
Michael attended First Baptist Church in Kings Mountain and loved the Lord wholeheartedly.
He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and work with his hands when he wasn't spending time with his children and family.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm. Saturday, December 23, 2023, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Road Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Aaron Bridges
The family will receive friends 1-2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
The burial will be at Westview Gardens in Bessemer City.
Michael is survived by daughters, Kemberlynn Ross, Bellamy Jenkins; sisters, Missy Gill (Curtis), Brandi Morris (Derek), Joanie Gregory (Andy) Emily Ross (Gareth); special friends, James and Tennille Ruhl and many adoring nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Hamrick.
The family would like to give sincere thanks to Michael's employer Charah Solutions for their support during this heartbreaking time.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to his children c/o Joanie Gregory 917 Brooklee Drive Kings Mountain, NC 28086.
Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service located at 216 Archie Whitesides Road Gastonia.

I worked with Mike at Charah, my name is Roc...I gotten real close with my bro Mike...I always was the voice of reasoning for him, kept him motivated and encouraged him every day..I always seen greatness in Mike...I often told him that he was 1 of the best Equipment Operators at the job, he was so grateful to hear that...He thanked me and told me that he loved me...I am going to miss my boy...He will be truly miss...I lost my Mother in June of this year and I am struggling with it so that's why I couldn't bare to see a Funeral right now...But I will carry Mike in my Heart always...I pray for strength for the Family.
