Michael Santacroce Obituary
In Loving Memory of Michael LaVerne Santacroce
Michael LaVerne Santacroce, age 65, passed away peacefully on May 16th, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 7th, 1959, in Albany, New York to his late father Sheldon LaVerne Santacroce and Donna Lee Santacroce.
Michael was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, brother, nephew, uncle, and friend. He dedicated his life to caring for his family and bringing joy and laughter to those around him. Michael's unwavering love for his family, generous heart, charismatic personality, impeccable storytelling ability, and entrepreneurial spirit touched the lives of all he knew.
Taking day trips with his loving wife, and their dog Lucky, to the family cabin was how they enjoyed spending much of their time. Michael made countless cherished memories with his children and grandchildren, who adored him. Hunting alongside his brothers and nephews, and golfing with longtime friends were his favorite hobbies. Michael enjoyed sharing his treasured pastime stories of hunting, trapping, and fishing alongside his grandfather, father, and brothers, as well as those stories of outlandish shenanigans with friends in his younger years. Let's just say if you know, you know.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Bobbi Jean (Rogers) Santacroce; his mother, Donna Santacroce; his children: Danielle Fand, Alicia (Chad) Anderson, Denée (Wade Potter) Santacroce, Bart McHenry, Bret (Sharol) McHenry, and Julie (Andrew) Kubalik; his grandchildren: Alex, Hunter, Michael, Max, Carly, Kelsey, Katelyn, Cole, BJ, Garrett, Jade, Evan, and Sophie; his siblings: Roger (Julie) Santacroce; Steven (Denise) Santacroce; Denise Santacroce and a host of great grandchildren, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward and Grace Santacroce; his father, Sheldon Santacroce; his daughter, Tina (McHenry) Larkins; his grandson, Cody McHenry; and his granddaughter, Gracie Whitacre.
Michael's family will receive friends for a celebration of life being held in October.
Michael will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy of love, generosity, and friendship will live on in the hearts of those He touched. May He rest in eternal peace.

Wow. I´m so sorry. I played baseball with him in high school. He was a great 1st baseman! Would you please share details of his upcoming celebration of life? I just retired and would love to come. Many memories with him. Ken Kraft. [email protected].
