Michael Allen Scaffidi, 70, Cudahy, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Monday March 24th, 2025. He is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years, Debbie (Hecker) Scaffidi; his loving children, Kimberly (Scott) Malsh and Brian (Liza Munoz) Scaffidi; his 3 grandsons Jaxson, Ryder, and Luca; his mother Gloria Scaffidi; his sisters Karen Scaffdi, Barb (Mick Barron) Gilling and Susan Scaffidi; Son in law to Beverly Hecker; Brother-in-law to Rick Hecker, Randy (Siouing) Hecker, Lisa (John Bebeau) Wright, Danny Schilz and Kelly Saele. Mike is also survived by many nieces and nephews, godchildren, other relatives and many, many friends including The Eglis, Fellins, Mitchells, Koktowskis and Anderers. Preceded in death by his father William Scaffidi, father-in-law Richard Hecker, sister-in-law Laura Schilz and brother-in-law Curt Schroeder.
Mike was a 1972 Cudahy graduate. He took his apprenticeship and worked his entire career at Roman Electric. Mike was a kind, generous, and loving man that would do anything for anyone at any time. He was thoughtful and always had a bright outlook on life. He was never angry or complained. He set a good example to his children by having a great work ethic and making family a priority. His family, and especially lately, his grandsons were the light of his life. He was an avid car guy who loved swap meets and never could walk past a junk pile without bringing a new "treasure" home! He loved to work in his garden and took pride in his yard. He enjoyed baking; especially at the annual Scaffidi Family Christmas Cookie Bake at his sister Barb's house. He also enjoyed going to the family cottage on the Wolf River, which he helped his dad build and now was enjoying with his grandson Jaxson.
A bright light has gone out in all our lives, but he is in our hearts and memories until we meet again. He will be waiting with a 69 charger and his amazing smile.
