Michael Scanlan Obituary
Michael Raymond Scanlan age 52, of Henderson, NV passed away on December 24, 2024 at his home in Henderson, NV. Michael was born in Las Vegas, NV on March 31, 1972 to John Scanlan and Mary Horton. He married Ruth Hannah Lovell on March 30, 2008 in Las Vegas, NV.
Michael had a wonderful sense of humor. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, listening to music and travel as long as it didn’t involve air planes. He was an amazing artist that loved to draw and sketch. He had a passion for tattoos. He had worked construction but loved being a chef and being creative in the kitchen.
Michael is survived by his wife Ruth Scanlan; five children Brandon Lippert, Jared Lippert, Seth Lippert, Faith (Shawn) Perdue, Hailie Scanlan; his father John Scanlan, mother Mary (Tommy) Askin; a brother John Scanlan and a sister Tana Leonard.
Celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at 3:00 pm at Star Mortuary 6484 Boulder Ranch Avenue Henderson, NV 89011. Family and friends are invited to sign an online memorial guestbook at www.starmortuary.com
