Michael Schaub Obituary

Mike was born on February 1, 1970, the son of John and Anne (Strifler) Schaub, in Peoria, Illinois. Mike obtained his bachelor's degree in horticulture and was employed at Schaub Excavating, his father's family business. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Kickapoo.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Schaub, and nephew Cade Schaub.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Anne Schaub; two brothers, Tim (Jaimee) Schaub, of Kickapoo, and Paul Schaub, of Brimfield; niece, Kennedy, and nephew Owen.
Cremation rites have been accorded, and memorial mass will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Kickapoo on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. Father James Pankiewicz will officiate. Burial of ashes will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Sophie's Kitchen in Peoria.
