CADDO - Michael Joseph Seiler, 78, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024.
Service: 12 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2024, in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Aurora Cemetery. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Mount Olivet Chapel in the Breyley Suite.
Mike was born August 27, 1945, in Decatur, Texas, to Thomas and Robbie Seiler. Mike attended Boyd High School. After High School Mike worked 32 years for General Motors assembly plant in Arlington, Texas.
For 27 years, Mike served as a Union Representative. He served Three terms as UAW Local 276 Chair of the Shop Committee. He was well respected both locally and internationally for his union activities. All who knew Mike enjoyed his good-natured personality.
Mike loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas (T.J) Seiler; mother, Robbie Seiler; brother, Bobby Morris; and his son, Michael Seiler.
Mike will be remembered by his wife, Karen Seiler; son Rusty Seiler and wife, Carrie; son, Shawn Seiler and wife, Misti; grandchildren, Dusty Burdick, Shelby Seiler Fields, Raegan Seiler, Jordan Seiler Kalifah, Austin Seiler, Sydney Seiler, Wesley Seiler, Zachary Sasse; and his six great-grandchildren.
