Mike was a sergeant with Bullitt County Corrections. He was also a Karate Instructor, having attained fourth degree black belt, and was inducted into the Karate Hall of Fame.
Mike is survived by his wife, Lee Shockey; sons, Jon Beams (Rosemary), Dalton and Frankie Shockey; and his beloved grandchildren, Jonny and Liam.
A Celebration of Life will be schedule at a later date. Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements. Memories of Mike and messages of support for the family can be shared at www.Ratterman.com.
