Michael Jon Slack

With heavy hearts and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Michael "Mikey" Slack, who left us peacefully on the morning of September 10, 2025, at the age of 44. He is now at rest and joyfully reunited with his mother, Laura Slack. Mikey's presence was a light in the lives of many. His warm heart, generous spirit, and infectious energy touched not only his family but also a wide circle of friends. He had an extraordinary ability to make those around him feel welcome and loved, and his quiet compassion left a lasting impression on everyone he met. As a father, son, brother, and friend, Mikey lived a life rooted in love and connection. His legacy is one of selfless kindness, and the countless moments of joy he shared. Though his absence leaves an immeasurable void, we find comfort in the many cherished memories he leaves behind. Mikey is survived by his father, Michael Slack; his sisters, Leslie (Sean) Slack and Tricia (Billy) Slack; and his five beloved children: Elisha (Thomas), Michael, Austin, Michael, and Keedan. He also leaves behind four additional children he cherished like his own: Karah, Kalie, Kinzey, and Kyzic; six adored grandchildren; As well as seven nieces: Brooke, Kayla, Andrea, Breanna, Autumn, Hayle, and Carley; and three nephews: David, Mason, and Jeffery. He was preceded in death by several grandparents, aunts, and uncles. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you honor Mikey's memory by treasuring your loved ones and showing kindness to others. A celebration of Mikey's life will be held at a later date Day Funeral Service is honored to serve the family of Michael Slack.
