Michael Andre Smith, 77 years of age, passed away on December 14, 2025, in Louisville, KY.
Mike was born on March 25, 1948 in Atlanta Georgia, was a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, and resided in Louisville, KY. He was preceded in death by his late Father, Willie Smith, and late Mother, Thelma Wiggins Smith.
His dedication to service was evident during his time in the U.S. Army, where he served as a combat medic and earned the Purple Heart.
Mike never met a stranger, he loved fashion, and sports. He was a loving and humble person who also loved telling stories and watching old Western movies and TV shows.
He also had a love of children and cherished moments with his grandchildren.
Mike is survived by his loving and faithful Wife, Wanda Kay Smith of 25 years. Also left to cherish his memory are his Son, Jamie Johnson, Step-Daughter Mydra Watkins, his Sister Darina Mays, Nieces, Raven and LeeLee and his grandchildren Makiaya, Mizaiah, and MyAnnah and a host of family and friends.
Mike will always be dear to our hearts and will truly be missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Sunday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
