Michael Smull, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on April 19, 2025, at the age of 48, leaving behind a legacy of fierce love, loyalty, and deep connection to the natural world.
He was preceded in death by his cherished grandmother, Marion Hanuschik, with whom he shared a profound bond that helped shape his heart and spirit.
He is survived by his devoted mother, Michele Smull; his loving sisters, Jessica Fletcher and Mia Jablonoski (Dennis); his treasured nephews, Jake Fletcher and Harris Jablonoski; and his niece, Lena Jablonoski, who brought light into his life. He is also survived by his uncle, Michael Hanuschik (Janice); and his cousins, Carlee Cimorelli (Mick) and Mike Hanuschik (Leslie), along with many friends whose lives were touched by his unrelenting loyalty and passionate heart.
Michael was a protector at his core - someone who stood up for the people he loved, no matter the cost. His heart was always in the right place, even when the path was difficult. He was known for living fast and feeling deeply. He loved with intensity and without reservation.
Nature was his sanctuary. He had a soul tethered to the river and found peace in the sunrise, solace in the sunset, and meaning in every quiet moment the world had to offer. The water wasn't just something he loved - it was a part of him. Those who knew him well will always feel his spirit in the flow of the current and the glow of a golden sky.
Though his journey here was shorter than we hoped, his impact will live on in every life he touched, every memory he helped shape, and every place where nature whispers his name.
A private service will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you take a moment to sit by the water, watch the sky, and remember him with love.
Arrangements are under the care of the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home 17 S. Delaware Avenue Yardley, PA 19067. Condolences for the family can be left at www.fitzgeraldsommerfuneralhome.com.

Hello to Mike´s family. We are so sad , very sad to hear this news today.
My husband fished with Big on the river and our son Kenny. They were good fishing buddies. Allen is heart broken over the news Big passed. Myself and Allen send our sincere condolences to the family. So sad. Such a sweet life gone. We literally just found out today and spoke his name yesterday when we drove down the river. Allen said I bet BIG is on the river today!
Love to you all. We are all sad

I was his next door neighbor as kids. We would play outside together and have good times. It hurts to know he´s gone now. My condolences to his family and friends.

I´ll always remember Mikes red hatchback car from the late 90´s. Had more than one adventure with that´s hatchback as our means. I remember cutting school and a couple of would hop in Mikes car and go up river to one of his "Secret" fishing spots, rope swing, etc. The dude loved being outside. I will miss him.
