Michael David Snyder

Michael David Snyder, 68, of Greenville, WV, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026, in his home. Though there won't be a service, those who knew and loved him are encouraged to celebrate his life. Born in Paxinos, Pennsylvania, on February 19, 1957, Mike served in the military, and later became a devoted carer to his wife. A known tech wizard, he enjoyed video games, programming, and reading, and was a dependable and kind-hearted neighbor.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Magdalene Boyd-Snyder and David Lee Snyder; his wife, Elah Belle Snyder; his nephew, Joshua Snyder; and a grandchild, Daniel Lee Gower.

He is survived by his siblings: Garry Snyder (Yvonne), Jeff Snyder, Cathy Snyder-Haberle (Brian), Cheryl Snyder-Ingram (Greg); his children: Christopher Snyder, Frank Lackey, Wanda Lackey, Jeff Lackey, James Michael Lackey, and Randal Riffle; his nephews and nieces: Gretel, Katrina, Kyle, Daniel, Rachel, David, Katelyn, Colin, and Kelly; his grandchildren: Patrick, Andrew, Timmy, Alisha, Taron, Draven, Shalynn, and Raina; and his great-grandchildren. Mike had a keen intellect, a wicked sense of humor, and a soft heart; he will be greatly missed.
