Michael Spohr Obituary
Beloved husband for 57 years to Julie Spohr (nee Murray), loving father of Cathy (Rob) DeZarn, Paul (Angie) Spohr and the late Janice Wetterich, father-in-law of Scott Wetterich, dear grandfather of Rodica, Andy, Amanda, Becky, Ashley, Amber, Jacob, Chloe and Cayle, dear brother of Ron (Sue) Spohr, loving son of the late Albert and Rosemary Spohr.
Mike had a love of coaching soccer and serving as a referee. His love of astronomy was lifelong. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge with his children and grandchildren. After graduating from LaSalle, he attended the University of Cincinnati and served in the Navy on the USS Boston as an air search radar maintenance supervisor. Passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 4th at St. Simon the Apostle Church from 9:30AM until time of funeral mass at 10:30AM.
Memorials can be sent to Cincinnati Observatory.
