Mary Maureen Murphy Coz died peacefully in her sleep after a long illness on July 5, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Suzanne Murphy and her golden doodle dog, Murphy. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Tom Coz, three special children, Joseph Coz (Carly), Elizabeth Van Hoy (Jesse), Michael Coz (Sabrina Reolon), three beautiful grandchildren, Samantha Coz, Holden Van Hoy, Frances Van Hoy, and her cat, Snickers. She is also survived by three brothers, Jim Murphy, Dan Murphy (Patti), John Murphy (Stacey), and one sister, Colleen Murphy Klosterman (Ron). Maureen was a Seton High School and Xavier University graduate. She loved life. She never met a stranger. She was a friend to many and a listening ear to all. She was Irish to her core and very proud of it. We will miss her spark, her zest for life and her indomitable spirit. She was special. She is now with God and at peace. In lieu of flowers, Maureen wanted any memorials to be made to the FreeStore Food Bank - Cincinnati Cooks Program or to the Recovery Cafe Network. Visitation at 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at 12:00 noon on July 26, 2025 at St. William Catholic Church, 4108 West 8th Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45205. Celebration of Life Luncheon at 1:30 p.m. at The Farm, 239 Anderson Ferry Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45238.
