Michael Stanley

Michael f. Stanley, 72, of Clarksville, VA passed away July 10, 2024. He was born in Richmond, VA on February 14, 1952.
He worked for Time Life Customer Service prior to his retirement. He served proudly in the United States Army and in the Army Reserves. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl W. Stanley, his mother, Louise B. Peake, his stepfather, John D. Peake, Jr. and his brother, Alden C. Stanley.
Survivors include his loving wife of 34 years, Kimberly A. Stanley, his son, Michael F. Stanley, Jr. (Brooke); 2 stepsons, Sean Blaess (Jennifer), Jason Blaess; 3 grandchildren, Olivia, Parker and Logan Blaess; sister Dana O'Donnell (John); 3 nieces and nephews, Michael C. O'Donnell (Melissa), Meghan O'Donnell, Andrea Stanley and stepmother Janet Stanley.
Michael was an outdoorsman with a passion for golf, hunting and fishing. He moved to Clarksville in 2019 to live out his dream of living on the lake, catching Striper, and collecting Civil War memorabilia. If you had a few hours, he could give you the history of each and every item he owns. His love for fishing and storytelling will be missed by so many.
Services and internment will be private and held at a later date.
