Funeral services for Michael "Mickey" Stephenson, 79, of McKinney, Texas will be conducted 10 a.m. Friday, July 19, 2024, at The Heights Church in Cleburne, Texas with the Rev. Stephen McCoy officiating.
A visitation for family and friends will be conducted from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Rosser Funeral Home.
Mickey Stephenson made the journey to his eternal, heavenly home Sunday, July 14, 2024 in Dallas, Texas. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on November 29, 1944, to Opal Mae (Benton) and Roy Carlos Stephenson. Mickey was an incredible man, father, Grandaddy and friend who led his entire life with LOVE. He loved God and loved others well. He will be remembered for his big laugh, big heart and his big love for the Lord.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Karla Birdwell.
Mickey is survived by his sons, Shane Stephenson and wife, Nicole, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Josh Stephenson and wife, Ashley, of Cleburne, and Trent Stephenson of Dallas, Texas; daughters, Sarah Williams and husband, Chris, of Prosper and Emily Leigh and husband, Cody, of Cleburne; grandchildren, Jack Stephenson, Molly Stephenson, Charlotte Williams, Savannah Williams, Landry Leigh, Logan Leigh, Millie Leigh, Matt Sleadd, John Sleadd, and Caleb Sleadd; and other family members and friends.
