Michael Suglia

Michael J Suglia of Mahwah, NJ passed away on 03/18/2023 after a brief illness. Michael was born on 11/11/1967 at Saddle Brook Hospital. He was the son of John V. Suglia and predeceased by his mother Nancy Leach Suglia. He is survived by his father John V. and his brother John C. Suglia, and his partner Noelle Gisonde.
Michael is a graduate of Ramapo College, Mahwah, NJ where he earned a B.S. in Business, and he played football. He also attended Northern Valley Regional High School at Old Tappan. He was an outstanding athlete in both football and baseball. He was chosen to all-county teams in both sports. Michael was named athlete of the week for football, and he played in the New Jersey North South football game in 1986. He was also inducted into the Old Tappan Athletic Hall of Fame and coached football at Old Tappan High School with both Ed Mullins and Brian Dunn.
Michael was a Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees Fan. He loved spending time in Hilton Head Island and was an avid golfer. was employed by Coca-Cola for 20 years, and he also worked for Dora's Natural in South Hackensack, NJ.
Michael was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, great-uncle, cousin, friend and colleague. He will be sorely missed by all who have had the opportunity to know him.
Memorial Visitation will be held at Barrett Leber Funeral Home, 148 Dean Drive, Tenafly on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 11AM -1 PM with prayer service to begin at 12:45 PM.
