Mike was born on March 19, 1952, in Zanesville. He is the son of the late Melvin and Clara (Besser) Swingle. Mike earned a Master's Degree in Social Work. He retired as the Executive Director of Pressley Ridge in Pennsylvania.
Mike is survived by his brother, Larry Swingle of Philo; his niece, Melissa (Kenny) Ogg; as well as several great-nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Mike is preceded in death by his parents.
In keeping with Mike's wishes, a caring cremation will take place. The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is caring for the Swingle family.
