Michael Tassin Obituary
A funeral service for Michael J. Tassin, age 64, of Marksville will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., in the chapel of Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neah Funeral Home located at 334 Acton Road in Marksville,. Burial will follow service at Cushman Cemetery, 230 Tarleton St, Marksville.
Michael J. Tassin entered into rest on July 18, 2023, in Lafayette, Louisiana. He was born on January 12, 1959, in Cottonport, La., to Elmore Tassin and Lucille Johnson.
Michael Tassin was preceded in death by his parents, Elmore and Lucille Tassin and sister, Joann Fontana.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Connie Tassin of Marksville; sons, Michael Tassin, Jr. of Marksville and Stuart Hilton of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Daughter, Amanda Tassin (MaKenzie) of Marksville; Stepsons, Derek Brouillette of Marksville, Jacob Brouillette (Christina) of Mansura, and Nicholas Mezzacapo of Pineville; sister, Tanya Bonnette (Anthony) of Bordelonville; brothers Troy Tassin of Spokane, Washington, and Lester Tassin of Simmesport, two grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home on Monday, July 24, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and continuing Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
