Michael Thomas Killebrew
August 6, 1954 - July 5, 2025
Mike was born in Hopkinsville, KY, to Hulan Killebrew and Bobbie Jean Combs.
Mike loved to be outdoors. Throughout his 32 years of marriage to Cynthia Killebrew, they took many camping and horseback riding trips. Mike also enjoyed farming, gardening, playing guitar, stone masonry, watching hummingbirds, and woodworking. One of Mike’s favorite memories was pulling Cynthia on a sled in the snow behind the four-wheeler.
He was a member of Columbia Avenue Church of Christ in Glasgow, KY. He often studied the Bible and tried to live and love like Jesus. Mike was a member of the Austin Masonic Lodge. He also enjoyed chatting with friends on the CB radio and was lovingly nicknamed “Stoneman”.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, stepmother Martha Killebrew, stepfather Billy Combs, and sister Julie Mutter (Freddie). He is survived by his wife Cynthia Killebrew, son Michael Killebrew, daughter Stephanie Reynolds (Steven), brother Kevin Killebrew (Karen), sister Patty Childress, and many extended family members. Mike and Cynthia loved their dogs: Dog, Butch, Blue, Sally, and Tate.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 9th, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial at Cave City Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday beginning at 9:30 AM until time for the service at the funeral home.
Mike will be remembered as a loving husband, caring father, fun uncle, and kind brother and friend.
